We believe that every child holds a spark of wonder. Our role is to nurture it through play, art and community.

    Each experinece blends open-ended art, sensory exploration, storytelling, and time in nature. We encourage children to think creatively and act with kindness.

ABOUT MISS B’S

Founder, Sara Brennan

My work with young children and families started in England where I studied Primary Education at Durham University graduating with a Bachelors degree (2012), before moving to London where I worked as a Montessori teacher whilst developing my own school curriculum for children aged between three and five years. Soon after beginning my career in Kensington and Chelsea (2014) I created my own curriculum, which was taught in the two pre-schools that I built between 2015 and 2022.

Understanding the innate needs of children I believe in a nurturing approach to child development grounded in nature, the arts, and language. Miss B’s Children’s Club is born from my years of experience, love of children, and belief in the importance of early education. Founded in Santa Barbara, Miss B’s Summerland club provides a learning environment for young children and families to thrive with enrichment classes, summer camps, and community events.

I continue with my mission to bring attention to the importance of early education throughout the formative years - birth to five. This time is critical to a child’s later development. It is the greatest responsibility and privilege to do this work, and I look forward to welcoming you to Miss B’s.
