Welcome to Miss B’s. These terms set out how our website may be used and confirm that what you find here, from the Miss B curriculum to the smallest bee, belongs to us. By using missbclub.com you agree to them.

Who we are

Miss B’s Children’s Club is operated by Miss B Nursery Scopes LLC, a California limited liability company founded by Sara Brennan. We may be reached at hello@missbclub.com or by post at 2245 Lillie Avenue, Box 394, Summerland, California.

Our intellectual property

Everything on this website is the property of Miss B Nursery Scopes LLC or its founder and is protected by the copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws of the United States and of other countries. This includes the Miss B curriculum; B Scopes and the twelve Little B’s, with their portraits, readings, stories and activities; The B Map and the readings it produces; Miss B’s Manners; The Buzz; the Early Learning Plan; and all text, illustrations, photographs, designs, logos, page layouts and code. The illustrations were created exclusively for Miss B’s from original designs by Sara Brennan.

Miss B’s, Miss B’s Children’s Club, B Scopes, The B Map, Miss B’s Manners, The Buzz, Belong. Believe. Be. and the Miss B bee are trademarks of Miss B Nursery Scopes LLC. They may not be used, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

How you may use this site

You are welcome to read the site and to use B Scopes, The B Map and Miss B’s Manners for your own family’s personal, non commercial enjoyment. A B Scope, a B Map or a manners book created here is written for your child and is for your household alone.

You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, translate, sell, license, scrape, frame or create derivative works from any part of this website or anything it produces; use any of its content to train, fine tune, evaluate or build an artificial intelligence or machine learning system; use the Miss B names, marks or illustrations in connection with any other product, service, school or club; or remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other notice. Teachers, nannies, schools and organisations who would like to work with the Miss B curriculum are warmly invited to write to us for a licence.

The nature of B Scopes

B Scopes, The B Map and Miss B’s Manners are gentle, holistic tools for inspiration, reflection and conversation. They do not predict, diagnose or define a child, and they are not a substitute for the advice of a teacher, doctor or other qualified professional who knows your child. Parents and carers remain responsible for their children at all times, and every activity we suggest is to be enjoyed with an adult close by.

Your information

The birth details you enter into B Scopes stay in your own browser; they are never saved by us and never sent to us. Information you give us when you apply for membership, subscribe to The Buzz, join our mailing list or write to us is used to provide our services and to keep in touch, and is handled with care and discretion. We do not sell personal information.

Membership and The Buzz

Club membership and subscriptions to The Buzz are governed by the plan terms shown at the point of purchase, including fees, renewal and cancellation. Membership is by application and places are offered, declined or withdrawn at our discretion. The Buzz is a reading subscription and does not include club access.

Links to others

Where we link to schools, booksellers, mapping services or other websites, we do so for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.

Our responsibility to you

This website is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miss B Nursery Scopes LLC and its founder accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or from reliance on anything it contains. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute arising from them or from the use of this website is subject to the courts of Santa Barbara County, California.
